National Lab Day

National Lab Day is a nationwide, year-long event, culminating with a slew of activities the first week of May 2010.  Teachers can request volunteer experts to assist their classrooms with various projects and activities with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.  The goal is to promote education, foster hands-on learning and collaboration between teachers, scientists and students.
