President: Sandy Pearce, PhD. Senior Scientist, Abbott Laboratories.
Coordinates the business of the chapter, presides at all chapter and executive board meetings and represents AWIS Chicago at national meetings.

Past President: Heather Behanna, PhD. Senior Scientist, Astellas Research Institute of America.

VP for Programs: Renee Theiss, PhD. Research Associate, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
Coordinates the programming activities of the chapter (e.g. career development workshops, social activities, award ceremonies, panel discussions) as well as acting Science Chicago Liason.

VP for Finance: Melanie Schroeder Patterson, PhD. Senior Scientist I, Protein Mass Spectrometry, Abbott Laboratories.
Conducts the financial business of AWIS Chicago.

VP for Membership: Joy Ramos, PhD. Medical Writer, Prescott Medical Communications, Inc.
Manages the AWIS Chicago membership list and recruitment/retention of members.

VP for Communications/Public Relations: Jessica Reimer, PhD. Public Relations Assistant Account Executive at Chempetitive Group.
Records the activities of the chapter, updates the website and publicizes meetings and events.  Communicates with other area science institutions about programming.

VP for Outreach: Jen Crawford. Account Manager, Aerotek Scientific Staffing.
Coordinates  youth service and outreach activities for the chapter.

Newsletter Editor: Kara Johnson, PhD. Scientific Affairs Area Manager, Abbott Laboratories
Prepares and publishes the AWIS Chicago biannual newsletter.
